Why Not Discard an Expired Passport

Why Not Discard an Expired Passport By Morgan Cutolo LIGHTFIELD STUDIOS/SHUTTERSTOCK It might seem that an expired passport doesn’t have any real use once you get a new one, but it actually does. Here’s why you should never just throw them in the trash. After you’ve had your passport for a certain number of years, the U.S. Government requires you to renew it. But expired passports shouldn’t be treated the same as expired coupons or food and just thrown in the trash. Expired passports can actually come in handy, even after you’ve already ordered a new one. “Overall, I think people assume it’s a good idea to shred or destroy your old passport, similar to the way you cut up your old credit card when you get a new one,” says Justin Lavelle, Chief Communications Officer for BeenVerified.com, a top background checking source. “Not the case for passports! Hold on to your canceled passport and store it in a safe place. It should be kept i [...]

Boeing 737 Max planes are being rebranded for Ryanair
belize-beaches.com
Boeing 737 Max planes are being Fraudulently rebranded for Ryanair By Eben Diskin Boeing and Ryanair should be boycotted. All Boeing planes, not just the 737 Max. Why? Because this is fraud. Safety is not optional Boeing. The 737 Max is inherently unstable from the beginning and shouldn't need software to overcome its flawed design. Maybe enough pilots will boycott this machine that Boeing could be driven out of business which is what should happen. At the very least the top executives who allowed this to happen should be sent to prison for a very long time. But unfortunately these days all top executives are teflon. TO SAY THE 737 MAX has received bad press lately would be an understatement, as the aircraft’s faulty flight control system has led to two separate, fatal crashes, one in Indonesia in October and another in Ethiopia in March. Following the mass grounding of all Boeing 737 Max 8s, Boeing is now rolling out its new and (hopefully) improved [...]

Plan your route Another must for due consideration is our route; or at l [...]

New regulations aim to make compensation for these claims easier — but they're also being challenged in court Sophia Harris · CBC News · Posted: Jul 14, 2019 4:00 AM ET | Last Updated: 6 hours ago Swoop, the ultra-low cost carrier launched by WestJet, said it cancelled 30 flights between July 1 and 10 due to unscheduled maintenance. (WestJet) The abrupt cancellation of 30 Swoop flights over the first 10 days in July sparked anger and confusion, with some customers paying out-of-pocket to salvage travel plans. New federal air passenger protection regulations, which roll out Monday, aim to cut down on customer confusion by laying out clear compensation amounts and treatment standards for mishaps involving all airlines. But rules covering cancelled and delayed flights won't take effect until December. The regulations also face a leg [...]
